Since April 2015, he is responsible for ‘Learning & Development’ function at Habitt – A leading home store in retail sector with 500+ employees and a subsidiary of IBL Group of Companies. He started here as a part of a consulting team that revisited Habitt’s vision, established its values and rolled them across the whole organization. He developed functional KPIs, mission statements and conducted performance gap audits to align strategy and objectives. He was also responsible for sales and service overhaul, revising both philosophy and language, implemented through a series of on-going training and coaching sessions. Currently he is assigned on a project to assist IBL Group and a team of global consultants on a ‘Talent Management & Development’ restructuring initiative for all 10 organizations within the Group.
Prior to joining Habitt, Adeel was a business development manager and a senior consultant at Torque. His four years journey at Torque started in 2011 and he quickly moved his way up the ladder to become a senior consultant, taking up a management role. As a consultant, his strength was his ability to develop a thorough and in-depth understanding of organization’s performance needs and translating that in designing relevant learning solutions. His clientele included organizations from automobile sector, retail, pharma, I.T, FMCG and academia (universities and Institutes). His business development achievements include opening up new territories/industries for business in Pakistan and on an international scale with assignments in U.A.E.
